Job applications at technical and engineering recruitment firm, NES, are at an all-time high, with statistics showing one application every ten minutes recorded throughout May on the company’s websites.
With competition in the jobs market at a recent high, Matt Cody, marketing director at NES is not surprised that applications have soared: “We’ve seen this increase across all of our specialist sectors, with particular demand for international assignments,” he says. “Registrations on our website, which allow users to sign up for new vacancy alerts, have increased by over 45% in the last six months too – another consequence of current employment conditions,” Matt adds
