The Senior Ore Prep & Froth Production Engineer will report directly to the Extraction and Tailings Process Lead.
Responsibilities:
Ensure proper transition of process concepts, basis of design and other process documents related to ore preparation (dry crushing, slurry preparation, slurry hydro-transport) and froth production (primary separation, flotation, hdryo-cyclones, froth de-aeration and screening) from pre-project to basic engineering.

Ensure integration of the ore prep and froth production in the overall extractions scheme.

Lead and direct specialists and engineering contractor studies related to ore prep and froth production.

Qualifications:
minimum of 10 years in the oil sands sector or in a mineral processing plant
hands on experience of process simulation packages
