Our client, formed in 1998 and now consisting of a team of 30 Surveyors, is based in modern offices in the Merseyside area, situated close to the motorway network. The company operates throughout the U.K as a key consultant to clients within the civil engineering and process sectors. Active in areas such as water and waste water, utilities, infrastructure, chemical and nuclear projects, they specialise in providing commercial, contractual and technical support on a diverse range of contracts. Now, due to an expanding workload, our client has an immediate requirement for experienced Quantity surveyors to join a forward thinking team providing project control services, within a key client portfolio.

Reporting to the Director, you will be expected to provide services from project inception through to completion and final account preparation. Roles may be office based or within key client locations, where you will be expected to oversee the commercial and contractual aspects of the projects. Core duties are likely to include;

Estimating
Cost Reporting
Contract formulation
Tender reporting and analysis
Contract Administration
Valuations
Negotiation and settlement of final accounts

Successful candidates can expect a highly competitive package, including Company car and 5% contributory pension scheme. Ideally you should be of Graduate level or with a minimum of 4 years experience in the process and/or civil engineering sectors and be part or fully qualified to MRICS. Promotion prospects are unrestricted to career minded professionals, within a management structure offering advancement to Senior and Executive Surveying roles.
