Contract or fixed term permanent position to end of December 2010 working on Quality Management Systems for Infrastructure Department within an Engineering Consultancy. Rates/Salary negotiable.

Quality System Manager

Quality System Manager�to support the Group CMS Manger in the development and maintenance of all project and office QA management strategies, procedures and systems and to ensure consistent application of these across the Business Area. This will likely to last until the end of December 2010.

Functionally manage all CMS requirements throughout the Business Area, across a diverse range of multi-disciplinary projects.
Support the preparation of HSQE Reports and related documents as required by the Group CMS Manager.
Ensure that corporate and group CMS processes and systems are maintained and consistently applied across the Business Area
Ensure best practice and lessons learnt are captured and disseminated.
Manage and maintain implementation of an integrated audit system, including compliance with corporate and group processes.
Provide support to the ILG certification process to maintain compliance with ISO 9000:2000 and ISO 14001: 2004 and any other Corporate, National/International Standards as applicable to the Business Area
Provide support and guidance to Staff on CDM 2007, quality, safety and environmental management
Undertake the Annual Management Review meetings
Deputise for the Group CMS Manager as required

Experience

Experience in Quality, Safety and Environment but a stronger focus on Safety would be advantageous
Professional membership of CQI, and/or IOSH, and or IEMA/CIWEM
Rail experience desired
Good communicator and sound experience in multidisciplinary project environments
Expert at maintaining management systems
