Our client is an engineering company that specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of process packages for the Oil & Gas market globally. Due to the growth of the business and continued success of new projects they are presently seeking a Project Planning Engineer to join their Surrey based office and team.

Summary:
To assist Project Managers in the planning, monitoring and reporting functions on a number of onshore and offshore projects.

Duties:
Provide information to senior management to enable a project to be managed effectively.
Provide schedule from summary to detailed level, which optimise expenditure of time, resouce utilisation and cost.
Regular reports on current status of projects
Undertake regular reviews of the schedules and progress reports to identify any trends, variations or concerns.

Qualifications:
Engineering Degree or Diploma

Skills:
Preferably 3 - 5 years experience in planning within an engineering office environment. Familiar with industry standard scheduling software, MS Project, Primvera etc
