Our client is currently working on one of the most demanding and challenging oil field development projects within the Oil and Gas industry. The size of the project and the demanding working environment, our client is looking for well versed staff to get the project moving forward

The client is looking for a Process Engineer to work on an Oil field conceptual study and there will also feasibility work as well with a possibility to progress to detailed engineering through to start up. The Process Engineer will join the process engineering group on the project and therefore must have experience working within a team of engineers with varying skill levels.

A Process Engineer must be degree qualified with a BSc in chemical engineering or related subject. The Process Engineer must have worked on projects within the Upstream Oil and Gas industry and must have a strong understanding of Production optimisation techniques and a keen understanding of offshore platforms would be deemed advantageous.

Ideally the Process Engineer will have worked on all stages of the project life cycle, ranging from feasibility studies through to start-up however a strong engineer who has only worked on some but not all of the project areas will be considered.

As this position will involve a large amount of travelling, our client would prefer for applicants to hold an EU passport and be willing to travel for up to 35% of the time.

The salary on offer for the Process Engineer will better than the current market rate however this will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
