Our client is a multinational company with more than $100 billion yearly revenue. They are the worlds largest steel manufacturing company in the world who are involved in the whole process from mining the Iron Ore to the manufacturing of the steel.

They are looking for a highly competent, fully qualified, Mechanical Engineer to take on the role of Mine Mechanical Manager in Liberia, West Africa. The candidate preferably has a strong mechanical background in the mining and/or heavy industries, and ideally who has worked with various heavy industry mechanical equipment.

Project management skills are desirable as your role will be to over see the mechanical department that you will establish and you would report to the General Manager. Experience with opencast operations and solving lost control issues will be a bonus.

A genuine interest in technical excellence, teamwork, and participating in the technical development of a very strong and talented group of engineers and designers is what will make you stand out from the crowd.
