We are currently looking for a Lead Planning Engineer to join Foster Wheeler initially in the Home Office in Reading and to then be assigned to new projects to prepare proposal submissions and / or carry out Planning Departmental functions.

Requirements
* Relevant degree/Chartered Engineer or appropriate experience.
* A proven track record in petrochemical or similar industries.
* Knowledge of PRIMAVERA software packages.

Responsibilities
* Establishing the requirements of each project with regard to scope of services, organisations, job specific procedures and planning & scheduling requirements in conjunction with the assigned project planning engineer.
* Regularly reviewing the planning and scheduling of work on current projects to ensure that activities are effectively planned, resourced and completed.
* Maintaining a working environment within the planning and scheduling group which is conducive to both self motivation of staff and opportunities for career development.
* Keeping close liaison with client personnel to maintain satisfactory working relationships and identify potential problem areas.
* Maintaining awareness of major client requirements for planning and scheduling services.
