A Dutch oil & gas services provider specialising in design, development, lease and operation of tanker-based production and storage systems, and also a leading provider of innovative Single Point Mooring systems is looking for junior structural designers and engineers to be based in their office in Kuala Lumpur.

They are looking for design engineers and designers with 3 - 5 years oil and gas and offshore design experience.
Familiar with SACS software, topside, analysis, jacket and fpso experience.
This will be a permenant and direct hire with the client.
-Develop structural system of the Single Point Mooring system which canX resist all the loading conditions ranging from load-out, transport and offshore lift to all the in-place condition (extreme environmental, fatigue, mooring) and at the same time is efficient in material usage and is constructable.
-Liaise with other engineering disciplines to ensure that the design meets also the requirements of other disciplines.
-In tender phase, to perform simplified calculations in order to investigate the feasibility of the concept design.
-In project phase, to further develop the structural concept into an Approved For Construction (AFC) calculation and drawing package. Structural calculations are performed using MathCAD and Staad.
-During project phase,to support project engineer by answering queries from the Fabricator and checking Fabricator structural calculations.
-Coordinate with other engineer and designers to produce drawing to ensure deliverables meet the specified requirement and level of quality and are delivered as per planning.
