My Client is looking for an engineering manager to take responsibility for key aspects of managing the engineering service provided by their project team.
Applicant shall have a subsea pipeline/hardware background and be a degree
qualified Mechanical Engineer or similar discipline.
Key roles will include:

- Stand in for the Project Manager.
- Maintain overview of all interfaces within clients team plus all third parties
including facilities, wells, vendors and contractors to ensure these are
adequately supported.
- Ensure compliance of engineering team with the HSEQ & Execution Plans for
execute
- Ensure adequate resources in terms of personnel, software and specialist
support are in place such that the project team is able to successfully execute
the project plan and to schedule
- Support the Project Manager in motivating the Project Team towards
successful achievement of specified project goals
- Direct Team Leaders in execution of tasks
- Supervise engineering execution; ensure compliance with procedures,
specifications and accepted engineering practices
- Maintain overview of the technical output of the team and direct the
engineering in line with the SOR, BOD, schedule, CTR�s and other
engineering standards as required
- Support the Project Manager in the preparation of reports on the progress and
cost of the project
- Expediting of closeout of all engineering actions and interfaces
- Provide direction and mentoring to engineering teams as required
