Our client is an engineering and construction management contractor, dedicated to providing value added services on a wide range of solutions to the water, wastewater and industrial markets. They are market leaders in providing full project solutions and services from technical engineering design and development through to project execution, construction, site installation and commissioning. Due to the success of new contract and projects awarded from major water suppliers they presently require various engineering support.
They currently require several Electrical Engineers to be based from their South Wales offices. The successful applicants will be responsible for the following;

Technical aspects of orders for MCC, cabling, PLCs, instruments.
Produce load & instrument schedules, equipment specs etc.
Review sub-contractor drawings and specifications against client & company specifications. This will involve detailed checking of supplier documents such as starter schematics, cable schedules, functional design specifications, HMI mimics etc.
Provide EICA input into design activities by other disciplines.
Liaise with customers and end-users as required.
Supervise FATs for MCC and PLC/HMI.
Ensure that all activities are carried out in line with QA procedures.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years experience in a similar water industry role.
Good communication skills for interfacing with colleagues, reporting to project manager, liaising with customers etc.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)
Flexible working approach to deal with potential problems.
