Electrical Design Draughtsman capable of developing basic system design to detail design for production and installation utilising 2D/3D CAD packages.

Qualifications:
HNC preferred or as a minimum ONC in the relevant engineering discipline

Software Used:
Proficient in various 2D/3D CAD packages (e.g. Acad, CMPIC etc.) Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:
Development of basic system design drawings/specifications to detail design cabling diagrams, equipment connection details, cable termination schedules and cable routing drawings in either a 2D or 3D environment iaw relevant specifications and design intent
Liaising with Professional Engineers during system development.
Production of technical documents and reports
On-site surveys in support of the development of detail system design.
Production of material take-offs
Task performance against budget and schedule and reporting progress to relevant leader/manager

Key Attributes:
Practical electrical engineering system design experience
Appreciation of shipyard system production and installation processes
Ability to work effectively in a team
Work off- site at clients premises, both in the UK and overseas
Drive and commitment
Good communication skills
