Our client is a market leader in design, manufacture and installation of skid mounted process packages for major Oil & Gas customers and operator. Reponsible for;
Creation of detailed documentation as follows,- Instrument Data Sheets for all types of field instrumentation, Instrument Schedules, Control Philosophys, Cause & Effect charts, Logic diagrams and Control Panel Specification
Specification of instrumentation and electrical equipment for Hazardous Areas.
Create technical requisitions for sub-vendor instrumentation and electrical equipment.
Review sub-vendor documentation / drawings for compliance.
Check instrument designers work in particular, instrument location diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules and E&I interconnect diagrams.
Detailed review of client technical specifications to confirm compliance or deviation.
Development and implementation of standards, work procedures and instructions.
Attend project progress meetings to review work status and man hour projections.
Implementing latest working practices, European and international standards.
Technical support to the Sales/ Proposals team reviewing client specifications / costs and man hour estimates.
Attend inspection /testing of control panels, instrumentation /electrical equipment and package installations.
Specify control applications utilising PLC or DCS control.

The successful candidate will possess a relevant engineering degree, preferably in Controls / Electrical Engineering and hold chartered status or actively working towards chartered status.
Ability to work in a demanding technical role on multiple projects to critical deadlines.
Experience is required in Control / Instrumentation & Electrical engineering for onshore and offshore applications.
The candidate will be expected to have experience within the Oil & Gas / Petrochem / Water industry.
