The purpose of this position is to provide cost management support to the unconventional projects supported from Houston. Initially involvement will be with the Northern Field Test Project.

The principal accountabilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Develop and implement cost structure, then monitor, report and forecast project cost using SAP and other cost management tools.
Integrate data from Shell and engineering contractors to prepare monthly project reports.
Work closely with the projects teams to monitor Management of Change process, identifying cost impacts of proposed changes and incorporating those impacts into the Project forecast and budget.
Manage the interface between Project Services and Finance plus Contract and Procurement.
Support the billing and invoicing process
Working with team members in multiple geographic locations. Manage and coordinate the cost control function. Managing the interface between Shell SAP and other tools and systems.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to learn and develop. The successful candidate will be a core team member of Project Services Organization supporting multiple projects teams within the Shell Unconventional Organization.
