Responsible for all aspects of engineering within the Control & Instrumentation Engineering Department for the project.

To ensure that the engineering definitions and the output from the department satisfies the technical requirements, programme, cost and quality objectives set by the Company, for the project.

To participate in problem solving at all levels as required
To provide overall co-ordination of the Control & Instrumentation Engineering aspects of the project.
To provide strategic planning of C & I Engineering deliverables in line with the project budgets.
To liaise with the Project management and project disciplines.
To produce the engineering deliverables required for the designated project.
To ensure the application departmental systems and procedures, within the project.
To arrange and co-ordinate any supplementary requirements from external consultants.
Forecasting manpower problems.


Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
HND qualified as a minimum in Control or Instrumentation Engineering.
Experience in design of field instrumentation loops and Modern Control Systems and working in a Project Engineering / Contracting environment.
Experience of Current Instrumentation design software desirable, in particular Intergraph INTOOLS system.
Proven track of leading and co-ordinating a project team.
Proven site experience would be advantageous but not strictly required.
Experience of direct line reporting to project management required.
Previous experience of the water desalination would be advantageous but not strictly required.
Some overseas travel shall be required.
Good oral and written communication skills.

HND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Instrumentation as a minimum. Microsoft office.Intergraph Intools / Instrumentation software experience
Experience working within an oil & gas design office.
UK driving license.
