The role
NES have a Qatar based client who is recruiting experienced staff for a major project in Qatar.

Required Experience
Manage both the principle project contract and all subcontracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements. Provide on-site advice to the clients project management team on contract management issues and also work closely with Project Manager and Site Management Team, Project Controller and Purchasing Department


Shall work with commercial representatives of Sub-Contractors. Will also work closely with representatives of main Contractor and airport Engineer. Contact with Client regarding commercial issues and claim management.

Responsible for the management of the main contract for the project including issues relating to claim management
Responsible for the management of any subcontracts that the client enters with external parties to complete parts of the work outlined in the main contract
Understands, supports, and applies commercial strategy to further the progress of the project
Works closely with various standards and legal matters in accordance with the project specifications to ensure necessary compliance and security from a contractual perspective
Preparation of correspondences to discuss contractually disputed issues with the Contractor, the Engineer and the Client
Works successfully as a member of the wider Commercial Team to ensure the execution of the project. This includes work with the wider aspects of the contract such as the Bill of Quantities
