One of the largest and most highly regarded multi-disciplined contractors in Australia and the world is currently seeking expressions of interest for the newly created position of Commercial Manager of their Victorian operations. They are recognized as the leader in the construction industry, evidenced by their ability to deliver technically difficult projects under tight time frames and with strict quality assurance. As Commercial Manager you will be responsible for the controlling and coordinating of all commercial activities associated with tendering, project start-up and project delivery. This will include reviewing tender and contract documentation, briefing project teams on commercial risks and opportunities, and providing contractual and commercial support to the project team. You will also be responsible for cost reporting and ensuring the financial integrity of the projects in your portfolio.

To be considered for this key position with our client you will demonstrate substantial contract administration and commercial management experience on large-scale building projects (experience on civil projects will also be highly regarded). You will have a very good understanding of head contract risks, excellent negotiation and issue resolution skills and your communication and interpersonal skills will be second to none.
