Commercial Manager: Knutsford, Cheshire: (Dependant on exp.) c. 55-60,000 Plus package.

As of this morning I have been asked to recruit on behalf of one of the worlds leading, engineering and project management companies delivering to the worlds energy, power and process industries. With annual revenues of over 2 billion and employing over 22,000 people in more than 40 countries globally, this is a large player in a global field.

This position will be supporting the Nuclear arm of the business in providing commercial management to an allocated business area, supporting the Business Director in the delivery of the business plan and ensuring that work tendered and undertaken is on a sound commercial basis and in accordance with commercial policy to maximise profit to risk ratio.

Ensuring the commercial robustness of business maximising profit opportunities, through developing the processes in place and by driving the business unit forward.

Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in maximising order book.
Relationship management.
Managing less senior commercial staff.
Commercial training negotiating major commercial deals dispute resolution.
Ensuring compliance with company policy

I am looking for experienced personnel within the industry and having spent significant time within a senior commercial role within a technical environment. You will be required to have a strong practical understanding of commercial law and experience of drafting extensive terms and conditions. You must have experience of competitive tendering and negotiation.

This position will be expected to develop a network of key commercial contacts and backing that with an excellent technical knowledge and understanding of business financial issues.
