Our multi-disciplinary client are looking for a civil / structural engineer to join their energy infrastructure team in Cheshire.

Job description
This is an opportunity to work with a new multi-disciplinary team, under the guidance of a Divisional Director as part of the support to their established energy unit.

The individual will be involved with:

�Work on all civil infrastructure and build aspects of energy related projects
�Undertaking asset inspections, pre-planning and design work on a range of a range of developments throughout the UK.
�Work on schemes for developers and major utilities companies and suppliers, as well as other energy related clients examples include wind farms, sub stations, power plants, Nuclear etc.

Candidate specification

�Appropriate registration to a professional body �Specific industry experience gained with a contractor or consultant.
�Experience of civil/structural design and layouts of substations, switchyards, overhead lines, cable tunnels, wind farms and power plants.
�Ability to deliver projects successfully within set deadlines.

Desirable qualifications, experience, competencies and skills:

�Experience in the nuclear sector.
�Flexibility to take on work across different industries.
