Job Title: Bridge Design Engineer
Status: Permanent
Location: York

Our client based in York is looking to recruit a bridge design engineer on permanent basis.

The successful candidate will need to have the following skills or experience: Good civil engineering degree (min 2:2)
Good bridge design office experience and good knowledge and experience of civil engineering principles and standards
Good knowledge of construction principles and standards
Familiarity with industry-standard software design packages
Understanding of safety standards and the safety implications of working practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy and demonstrate good interpersonal skills
Highly motivated and adaptable with solution orientated approach
