I am currently dealing with a new position for a Principle QS to be based in a large and executive Development business.

This is a very exciting time to be joining the business with a large ammount of new bespoke projects and large housing developments due to start on the run in to summer. Based within a team of over 15 this person will lead a smaller group of QS's and Assistants that will have to effectivly manage a range of projects and to develop the more junior members of the team.

As many developers seem to be feeling the pinch of the credit crunch; my client is thriving and needing to recruit to meet the level of upcoming work. Ideally candidates will have a range of experience in construction, house building, commercial and civils; however the real difference comes from the individual. This role needs an experienced QS and someone who can shoulder the responsibilty of the more difficult projects when demanded. This role will report directly into the Commercial Manager and s seen as a key appointment within the team.
