QatarGas pioneered the LNG industry in Qatar and currently exports 10 million tons per annum of LNG to customers in Japan and Spain. For the ongoing development and expansion projects, which will see markets served in Europe, Asia and North America,
QatarGas is presently looking for a qualified Instrument & Controls Engineer.

Main Responsibilities;
- Good knowledge of various process instruments and their practical application and means of installation.
- Good knowledge of Hazardous Area installations and various methods of providing safe solution
- Good knowledge of DCS, IPS, FGS systems and their application
- Familiarity with NFP72
- Familiarity with INTools & MS Access
- Understanding of:
1. Modbus
2. Devicenet
3. Profibus
4. OPC
5. Foundation Fieldbus
- Understanding of Electric Heater Systems (e.g for Boilers and Tempered Water)
- Familiarity with interpreting Logic diagrams and Cause & Effect Diagrams
- Familiarity with Variable Speed Drives and their practical application.
- Knowledge of operation, monitoring and control of Electrical Switchgear and Motor Control Centres
- Knowledge of fibre optics.
- Knowledge of telephone network
- Knowledge of CCTV, PA Systems, LANs
