The role

Taking briefs from the Partner/Associate Team Leader, you will work under your own initiative in delivering large, complex projects. Involved at every stage of a project, you appreciate that a holistic approach is central to good building design, and you will ensure that your work integrates with that of other disciplines and fellow professionals. As well as undertaking surveys and providing designs and specifications of systems, you will review and comment on information provided by the client, colleagues and contractors, ensuring that all work complies with relevant UK regulations and design guides.

About you

With a relevant BEng/MEng degree in mechanical, building services engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent qualification, you will be able to call upon comprehensive building services design experience; experience which is complemented by charted status and a strong technical knowledge within your primary engineering discipline (mechanical or electrical). In addition, you should have a good understanding of the secondary discipline. With clear communication skills and a team based work approach, you have the ability to manage and motivate colleagues and contractors alike.
