Key Objectives:
To support the assigned project in the satisfaction of the company's success criteria in terms of: Safety, Environment, Quality, Cost and Schedule objectives.
To establish and maintain a successful relationship with the internal and external customers in providing a first class planning and scheduling service.

Main Duties:
Review cost impact of Project scope variations to budget & forecast
Interpretation / implementation of contract terms and conditions
Maintain auditable cost / contract records
Participate in contract close-out, ensuring all commercial accounting & cost control functions are met.
Prepare project cost reconciliations (project escalations, variations etc).
Preparation of Client Monthly Invoice.
Validation and approval of subcontractor invoices.
Contribute to the Contract Commercial Meeting.
Evaluation of invoice / expenditure split against relevant cost centres.
Review and monitor cost activities to ensure deliverables are achieved.
Check/agree Contractors monthly and final accounts.
Undertaking any other duties that may be required from time to time.

Organisational Relationships:
Head Office personnel and Site personnel assigned to a project team.

Qualifications
BSC Degree or HND Standard equivalent qualification in an Engineering, Process or Quantity Surveying Discipline

Background/Experience
Five-plus years of oil and gas industry experience in cost control, cost reporting and contract administration.

Skills
Ability to be able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision after initial training, deliver work products to the highest standard and to reporting monthly deadlines.
Must be numerate and articulate with ability to communicate easily with all Head Office personnel and Site personnel assigned to a project team General IT familiarity and competence in use of MS Office Applications.
