Our client is a South East based pharmaceutical manufacturing company that has been established for nearly one hundred years and is proud of its independence in a highly competitive market. The company develops and manufactures a range of drugs that enjoy an extensive distribution throughout the UK and overseas. Significant recent expansion to the production facilities has resulted in the need to expand the technical team through the appointment of a controls and instrumentation technician.

The main purpose of the role is to establish, develop and maintain a controls data storage and restoration system and to develop and carry out a calibration process for business critical instruments and devices. The successful candidate will also liaise closely with QA to establish and maintain regulatory compliance in both instruments and control systems related matters and provide assistance and support to the controls technician.

The ideal candidate will have pharmaceutical experience, including having worked in a GMP environment, and have worked in a similar controls and instrumentation role previously. Any experience working on asset reliability will be advantageous.
