Ideal experience:

Industrial procurement experience.

Oil and gas purchasing and expediting experience

Experience of purchasing structural steel fabrications, mechanical pumps, fabricated skids, separators, electrical switchgear, instrument control systems, pipe/valve/pipe fittings materials as used in oil and gas production and process industries.

*Experience of pre-qualifications, presentation and proposing bidders list, terms and conditions of purchase, performance bonds, liquidated damages, terms of payment, including letters of credit, and bank guarantees.

Experience in issue of tenders, tender clarifications, price evaluations negotiation, formulating and general write-up of purchase orders for all types of materials, including fabrication and site personnel.

Experience of general shop floor manufacturing process for fabricated materials. (Preferably oil/gas)

Experience of expediting from a desk with field coordination experience both for materials and fabrication utilising the involvement of site QC activity, including final release.

The experience should include ability to understand workshop production schedules, sub-supplier inputs, critical path analysis and ability to understand and propose solutions to delays, which may be advised by the supplier, to the overall production schedule.

Experience in coordinating Client third party inspection engineers to ensure zero delay between the completion of manufacture and shipment stages.

Experience in shipping, including INCOTERMS 2000, materials overseas, ensuring the correct documentation is available for the Clients shipping agent in receiving country.
