As of this morning I have been instructed to recruit for a business that is
the expert in the acquisition, planning, design, construction (ADC) and
management of telecommunications base station sites and related
infrastructure.

They provide full ADC and Management Services to a varied Blue Chip Client
base, and provide the full complement of skills in-house, utilising their own
Acquisition Surveyors, Town and Country Planners, Design Engineers, CAD
Technicians, Construction Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Riggers and Project
Managers.

At present I am dealing with a vacancy for an Acquisition Surveyor whose main
role is the identification of Radio Base Station Sites on behalf of Mobile
Phone Operators, also leading a team of Graduates/Surveyors on individuals
Projects as required.

The main responsibilities of this role are:

To receive instructions to search a given area and identify sites suitable
for development as a radio base station.
To report to the Client with several options in the given area.
To receive instructions to progress the acquisition of the Clients
preferred option
To negotiate and agree Heads of Terms with the Site Provider and/or their
Agent
To progress the agreement with the Site Providers & the Clients solicitors
up to completion of a formal Agreement
Where instructed to progress negotiations to achieve Early Access to the
site prior to completion of the formal Agreement
To support & liaise with the Town Planning team in securing planning consent
for the development
To liaise with the Design team in the production of a scheme for development
acceptable to the Site Provider, Client & Local Planning Authority
To conduct all of the above activities in timely fashion, meeting the
Clients contractual Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
To populate, update and maintain the employers project tracking database
To report all activities and progress to the employers and the Clients
Project Managers to oversee, lead and motivate other Acquisition members of
the Project Team
To maintain an overview of colleagues work in order to ensure maintenance
of Quality, Project Performance and Client KPIs and to ensure knowledge and
information is available to the employers and Clients Project Manager in the
absence of those colleagues.
