An excellent opportunity has arisen for a senior civil/ structural engineer to work for an established, international process contractor in South Manchester. THE POSITION
Experienced Senior Civil & Structural Engineer, capable of leading a small team of Civil & Structural Engineers and Designers on large scale industrial, chemical and process plant projects.

You will be required to carry out analysis and design of various structural steel and concrete structures, buildings & foundations etc. within a multidisciplinary task force, reporting directly to the Lead Engineer or Project Manager. Duties will include the production of design deliverables and supervision over the production of construction drawings relating to their design. Other specific duties will be maintaining the Companys expertise in the use of STAAD Pro analysis & design software. Knowledge of both British and overseas design codes beneficial.

Qualifications

Relevant HNC in Engineering (minimum) or equivalent
Corporate member of relevant institution

Experience

Proven track record as a Senior Engineer
Construction related field experience
Broad experience in diverse areas of: Process plants, Civil/Structural design, construction and safety
